Sophia M. Soifer

Johnson Duffie is pleased to announce that Sophia M. Soifer has successfully passed the Pennsylvania bar examination and has been admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Soifer was sworn in as an attorney in October 2025 and continues to serve clients from the firm's Harrisburg office.

We are thrilled to congratulate Sophia on this significant achievement. She has been a tremendous asset to our team, and we are excited to see her continue to develop her practice as a licensed attorney. Her dedication to our clients and her strong work ethic have already made a positive impact on the firm.

Soifer earned her Juris Doctor from Widener University Commonwealth Law School in May 2025, where she served as President of the Appellate Advocacy Honor Society and Executive Vice President of the Student Bar Association. She graduated on the Dean's List and was recognized with a CALI Award for Legal Methods II. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Pennsylvania State University, graduating on the Dean's List with minors in Ethics and Psychology.

During law school, Soifer gained valuable experience through judicial externships with U.S. Magistrate Judge Schwab in the Middle District of Pennsylvania and legal internships with the Pennsylvania Office of Administration, Office of Chief Counsel, and the Department of Human Services Office of General Counsel. She is a member of the James S. Bowman American Inn of Court and the Federal, Pennsylvania, and Dauphin County Bar Associations.
