November 29, 2021- This Thanksgiving season, Johnson Duffie proudly donated 30 free turkey vouchers to Cumberland Valley School District and 100 turkeys to New Hope Ministries.
Cumberland Valley has a year-round food program for underprivileged students. One part of the food program is providing food items to families to have a Thanksgiving meal that they would not have been able to have otherwise.
New Hope provides assistances for guests who are working individuals who simply cannot make ends meet, senior citizens on fixed incomes, people with disabilities or illnesses, victims of job loss or spousal abandonment, and/or people suffering from other crises. They do their Thanksgiving distribution annually at all their locations, the weekend before Thanksgiving.
Johnson Duffie is thankful to be able to give back to the community that they have served for over 110 years.
