Richard E. Berner concentrates his practice in the areas of insurance defense litigation, civil litigation, and orphans’ court litigation. Mr. Berner began his career in private practice by serving as a law clerk at Johnson Duffie. During law school, he gained invaluable experience by serving as a legal intern to Chief Judge Henry Van Eck of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania. Mr. Berner further distinguished himself by serving as the President of the Widener Law Commonwealth Moot Court Honor Society.
